Once you’ve selected the building, navigate to the Info section to make changes. Don’t forget to click the blue Update button!
Note: The building’s address cannot be edited directly. If you need this to be changed, please email support@gridium.com.
- Name: Enter or update your building’s name here.
- Total area: Gross floor area in square feet for the entire building. This figure is used as the denominator in a range of performance and cost ratios throughout Gridium.
- Conditioned area: The floor area of the building in square feet that is covered by HVAC.
- Floors: The number of floors in the building.
- Year constructed: When the building was first built.
- Year acquired: When you added the building to your portfolio.
- Region: The geographic area where the building is located. This is used to group buildings and aggregate their data to see performance and comparisons. You can choose from a list of existing regions, or enter a new one.
- Campus: Similar to Region, this groups co-located buildings into a single campus which aggregates data from all of them. You can choose from a list of existing campuses, or enter a new one.
- Category: A flexible option for tagging similar buildings, which can be used to filter data in various places throughout Gridium. You can choose from a list of existing categories, or enter a new one. (Example categories: Office, Retail, Laboratory, Industrial)
- Type: Similar to Category, another option for tagging buildings. You can choose from a list of existing types, or enter a new one. (Example types: Tenant Controlled, Landlord Controlled)
