Edit request lists to show exactly the information you need—and nothing else

Tikkit displays a default set of columns for lists of requests, but you can hide columns, add new ones, and reorder them to better tailor request lists to your workflow.

Within a request list, you can sort by any column value. Custom columns, together with sorting, request labels, and custom views, allow you to support complex workflows.

Editing columns

To edit columns, go to the request list that you wish to modify, and click the “Customize view” button in the upper right.

You will be presented with a list of available columns. Check or uncheck the box next to each column name to show or hide it. Click, hold, and drag on the left-hand handle (with the three vertical dots) to change the order of a column. Click “Save changes” to apply the changes.

You can choose from the following list of columns:

  • Request ID. The unique numeric ID for the request.
  • Request label. The label assigned to the request, if any. This column also displays the assigned label color.
  • Request type. The type of the request. This column also displays the request type icon.
  • Short description. The summary description of the request.
  • Assigned to. The person to whom the request is currently assigned.
  • Due date. The due date of the request, if any. The value is color-coded according to how soon the request is due.
  • Location. The location to which the request applies.
  • Priority. The request priority, which is also color-coded.
  • Last updated. The date and time that a change of any type was last made to the request.
  • Creation date. The date and time the request was created.
  • Creator. The person who created the request.
  • Description. The long description of the request, truncated if necessary to fit in the view.
  • Occupant group. The occupant group that the creator of the request belongs to, if applicable.
  • Repeating schedule. For request templates, a description of the schedule used to determine the cycle of repeating requests.

Any changes you make to the columns are unique to the view you are editing, and will apply to both the desktop and mobile versions of the view (although the data is reformatted on mobile devices to accommodate the smaller screen dimensions).

Note that any modifications you make to columns apply to you only. The changes are not shared with other users in your organization.
