Last week Gridium was awarded a spot on the prestigious 2013 Global Cleantech 100. Produced by Cleantech Group, a global market intelligence and consulting firm, the list names the 100 private firms likely to make the biggest market impact over the next five to 10 years.

The list is compiled by Cleantech Group based on their own data and research, combined with the independent judgment of a 90-person industry expert panel. Nearly 6,000 companies from 60 different countries were nominated this year. Previous years’ lists have included such standout successes as Tesla, Nest, Silver Spring and Opower.

Founded in 2011 with a mission to improve how buildings manage energy, Gridium develops proprietary software technologies to deliver low-cost energy management solutions without hardware or set-up costs. Over the last two years, Gridium has quietly grown to manage over 100M square feet of real estate.

Gridium is honored to be recognized by Cleantech Group, and we thank our customers, partners, employees, and everyone else who have helped along the way. Expect more from Gridium over the next few months and into 2014. We have only just begun to show the transformative power of energy data.
