|Challenges||The Campus Recreation department didn’t have a comprehensive maintenance program, instead a patchwork of systems and behaviors.|
|Solution||Tikkit for mobile friendly work order collaboration between Campus Recreation facilities users and facilities department personnel.|
Getting Organized to Get it Done
Tikkit software for work order collaboration helps the Campus Recreation department maintain its golf course and driving range, basketball and racquetball courts, tennis center, field house, elevated indoor running track, and two-sided climbing wall. Applications are open!
Ohio University offers 250 areas of undergraduate study to over 35,000 students. It’s a good thing there are so many facilities in place to help the students let loose of a little steam. The facilities team is happy to have a tool in place that helps everyone communicate on maintenance issues, with all of that communication tracked. Instead of notes, the team now knows who identified what issue, where exactly the issue is located, and what symptoms are present. All of this means a quicker diagnosis and a faster resolution and happier, healthier students.
The people on my team are really pleased with Tikkit. It’s our first comprehensive maintenance collaboration tool, and it’s going really well. We worried it would make life harder, as just another thing to track online…but, instead, it’s organized our work, it’s where we manage it all!
